PROPERTY PURCHASES AT WORLD-CLASS BULGARIAN RESORT ARE NOT TAXING
The affordable and favourable tax system in Bulgaria proved the catalyst for a number of potential purchases at Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort after the Luxury Property Show, held in November 2014 in London.
Visitors were initially attracted to the Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort stand by the aesthetics of the resort, but, once there, were smitten by news of the guaranteed annual four per cent rental return for the first three years and a tax system which has been designed to stimulate growth in the country.
And the combination of guaranteed income, low taxation and a truly spectacular, world-class resort resulted in a surge of show visitors keen to secure the remaining properties at the award-winning destination.
Apartments at the stunning Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort, on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, have already increased in value by more than 20 per cent in seven years – and further increases are anticipated when a spectacular new six-star project is completed in the next couple of years.
Although the resort has now sold all of its studios, there are apartments remaining in the stunning Hillside Village – along with Marina, one of two existing residential villages at the resort. The quiet, Mediterranean-style village offers amazing views across the Black Sea and the world-renowned golf course, one of the most spectacular anywhere on the planet.
Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort’s real estate sales manager, Kalin Stoyanov, explained: “The Bulgarian tax system is very affordable and flexible. It is one of the most attractive in Europe and has been designed to stimulate economic growth with particular emphasis on foreign business and property investment.
“Tax is only 10 per cent for individuals, which when taken with the guaranteed return from rental revenue on offer at Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort has made the resort particularly attractive for those who wish to either purchase a holiday home for the family or buy simply to rent out for additional income.
“Properties at Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort have bounced back spectacularly from the worldwide economic crisis and are dwarfing the returns shown in many other destinations, with the remaining apartments in the Hillside Village starting from just €164,000.”
The luxury venue – recently named Bulgaria’s ‘best golf resort’ for 2014 at the inaugural World Golf Awards – has gained many admirers since opening in 2011, with images of the sensational cliff-top Gary Player golf course being transmitted around the world. It also successfully hosted the 2013 Volvo World Match Play Championship and scooped the ‘European Golf Resort of the Year 2014’ award, bestowed by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).
Indeed, Player himself said of the course at Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort: “You will not find a golf course like this anywhere else on the planet. Pebble Beach is renowned as the best site and I would say Thracian Cliffs is twice as good as Pebble Beach.”
The beautiful cliff-top course offers stunning sea views from every hole with the signature par-three sixth providing particularly incredible vistas as you look down to the green which is found surrounded by the lapping waves of the Black Sea. From the tips it measures almost 231 yards – a real test of golf and concentration.
With two high-spec residential villages – many with panoramic sea views – gourmet restaurants, a bijou spa and its own beach club, Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort offers plenty for both golfers and lifestyle seekers, all within the unique environment of the Cape Kaliakra coast, which benefits from plenty of autumn sunshine, lying, as it does, further south than Florence, Monaco or Marseille.
That temperate autumn climate is ideal for the regular special events which take place on the unspoiled Bendida Beach, located directly on the seafront of the resort. And, in more good news for visitors and potential owners, with a bottle of beer in Bulgaria costing around 68p* – the lowest of all holiday hot-spots in Europe – and a three-course evening meal for two, with wine, available for under £28*, the country is clearly one of the best-value destinations around in 2014.
